VRT question

    Hey guys, have my VRT on Saturday and I'm wondering is it possible to change which county my registration plate will be. My home address is right on the border of Kildare/Laois and I'd prefer the LS Registration. My bank statement for proof of address is under Kildare however so not sure if they'll let me choose Laois without proof of it

    No you'll need proof from the laois address to get LS.

    No worries I won't be able to get it so.

    Also about the proof of address is a bank statement all I need?

    And the proof of entry into the state what can be used here? Will the purchase invoice be ok for that or will I need something else?

    I did it yesterday and they looked for flight/ferry receipt. Bank statements, utility bills, something with your pps etc etc, the more the better, just in case

    I purchased the car from Northern Ireland so no Ferry or Flights.

    You don't need proof of entry, as it was an NI purchase. Once your invoice states the NI address for where you purchased the car, you are covered.
