Going down this afternoon for a test drive but I think il be buying it.
Just the mileage is very very low for the year and I'm worried there's a bad reason for it.

If its an Irish car and you have the nct history and any other verification that the miles are genuine it should be ok. I on the other hand bought a Japanese import that had low miles and the nct cert to prove it. However, after requesting and paying for the Japan nct reports I found out the car had 20 times the given miles.

It looks genuine enough but they could have taken better pictures for sure!
Make sure to check the service history, number of previous owners, NCT Disks/Certs for a clearer mileage picture. If they don't have them then I'd be a bit more curious.

Interior is usually a big giveaway for mileage, gear knob and steering wheel wear.

More than likely it was bought and owned by an elderly person or someone who just barely drove it, the fact its the petrol engine as opposed to the diesels would make me think its not a former company car etc which has been clocked.

I was thinking elderly alright or a person who didn't drive it much. But why would someone buy the bigger engine version if they barely drive it seems like a waste of money .

Take it for a good drive.
Cross reference all paper work. Service History and NCT etc

its high mileage compared to one of the F10's in my house....a July 2013 520d MSport and it has 21k km since new. Driven everyday and gets a motorway run twice a week. I look after the cars so I have every piece of paper since new, all service docs and NCT docs in date order in a folder so anyone buying in the future can be assured of its genuine past.

Just make sure its ok in person.

Well I would view the diesels 1.9 and 2.0 as the engines to go for if I was planning on driving decent mileage.
When new, the diesel would have been a good chunk dearer than the petrol.

The girlfriend bought her car off them and there wasn't anything more we could have asked for

Deciding to buy before you've seen or tested a car is an error.

Thinking about something, isn't a decision Mr Ford
