    Hi superbluedub,

There's not a lot to separate them but my own personal preference would be the Samsung UE55NU7021. They're both great panels but the Samsung has a slightly better smart hub.

If I were to recommend a TV around that price I would go for the Philips 55PUS6703. It uses a micro dimming panel and gives better colour brightness and contrast than the LG and the Samsung which both use an edge lit panel. Micro dimming panels tend to be used in higher spec TVs which makes the Philips the best entry-mid level TV out there:

    https://euro.richersounds.ie/cssearch.aspx?searchterm=55pus6703&swapstore=1#pgnum=&sort=

It's currently £469/579 euro and can be shipped to ROI.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David
