Need alarm system, new home

    Hey guys, we purchased a new house and just looking to get alarm system, cameras. There's a broadband at home. Anyone could recommend a good company to get set up what's the costs? House is in Kilkenny area. Thank you

    Depends completely on your needs, requirements and budget.

    If you want a professionally installed system * then the advice is to go and contact at least three local companies, they should come to your home, see what they think you might need and discuss your requirements and give you a quote based on that.

    * DIY is another route you can take.

    BTW personally I'd keep the alarm system and camera system separate. One option is to go pro install for the alarm system, but do the cameras yourself. Lots of good IP cameras on the market that are relatively easy to setup.
