Been making inquiries into a car
Owner says he imported it from N Ireland a year ago but the odometer is showing kilometers not miles in one of the pictures posted
Am I correct in thinking NI car's odometers are always in miles

They are in miles but some cars can change odometer units from miles to km through the menus.

My Aunts Mk1 yaris could easily switch over from miles to km. She didn't notice it once and I was driving it thinking... this is very fast for 50 :pac: Pulled over and switched it back to km.

What type of car are you looking at? It's one thing knowing it's possible, but you still don't know whether or not it should be possible for that car.

Its a 2014 Honda civic. Getting it checked over by a mechanic later today so will get him to check that out.

Cartell report confirms its an NI import, that matches what seller told me so presume all is good on that front

My civic is older but it has a mph/kph switch which switches the speedo and odometer from km/miles.
