I don't post much here but I'm going to put up a selection for this evening in the 6:20 at Thirsk.

The Stalking Moon currently around 11/1 and drifting which is a worry but has improved form since joining new yard at Adrian Nicholls and is at a good mark now to hopefully sneak in. He finished 3rd in a handicap last month in what was his second start for new yard and if he can build on that off the same mark I reckon he has a decent chance. Again the drift is a worry but I'll put a few quid on myself.

    First bet of the day.

2.15 Salsbury, Top Buck, around 13/8 on the exchange. I think moore will get this home. Backing to win

Good look to anyone actually betting on here today, the racing seems "ok."

Met the owners of this horse in Cheltenham 2 years ago, fantastic story behind the horse.

The horse is owned by the friends and family of one of the lads that died in the Berkeley balcony tragedy a few years back. It was his dream to own a racehorse and they bought this in his memory.

The horse is being well backed tonight.

Not a great start to the day but confident of recouping and making a few bob.

    My banker of the day.

4.15 Salisbury, Make My Day. There is nothing in the race that can beat this on form. Around 13/8. Backing to win as my strongest bet of the day. How far will it win is the question ?

Any reason why ex cheltenham winner farclas is running in the next at a midweek summer meeting in rosommon?

Because he is not going to scale those heights again and better for him to be out mopping up soft races picking up prize money than be home in a field.
