    Hi,
I was wondering if there is any driving school around dublin that do intensive courses to learn how to drive where you sit in a classroom and learn the theory first?

In sweden for example they have an option for you to learn how to drive in 2 weeks and you can sit down in a classroom together with others to learn the theory. Anyone heard of something similar in Dublin?

There are several driving schools that offer "intensive courses".
I don't know about classroom, but google and ring them to check.

Don't know of anyone who offers theory test classes here, as the Irish theory test is really not difficult enough to warrant classroom training; it can easily be studied for on your own (buy the official material from the RSA, if you feel like spending money, or just use one of the many free practice tests out there) and is really not difficult to pass at all.

You aren't going to learn a thing about actually driving in a classroom, either; practical experience is key. If you've literally never driven before, most instructors will usually go over the lesson syllabus and provide a bit of one-on-one lecturing in the car with you before you set off on your first few lessons, though, to make sure you at least know enough to operate the vehicle safely.
