Security camera

    Due to a shady neighbour dealing drugs and bringing crap to the estate and a spate of car break in’s , im looking for something that only records when somebody is in my garden near car or house , so i don’t want it recording 24/7

    Any ideas ??

    Nothing to hard to install

    Lots of IP cameras out there that can do that.

    Depends if you have power where you are putting the camera (which is preferable), then the following are options:
    Google Nest Cameras, Logitech Circle, Ring Cameras, Yi Cameras and plenty of others.

    If you don't have power and need a battery powered camera, then:
    Blink or Arlo are battery options.

    BTW some of the above can record 24/7, but would only send you a notification when movement is detected. Also some of the above, but not all, require a subscription to a cloud service to store the video.

    Of course another option is a more traditional CCTV system with a NVR (Network Video Recorder).
