Hilux steering wheel horn issue

    Hi
My 2015 model hilux went for a Toyota airbag recall and I was told all was checked and OK.
The horn on the steering wheel only works when the steering is locked to the left.
From Google research I have seen lots mentioned about faulty clock spring.
This apparently effects the airbag and steering wheel horn etc.
My question is should this be covered by the recall as it effects the airbag or if not is it much of a job to fix? Thanks

Afaik that recall was to do with the crash sensors, not the airgags.

Yes, an intermittent horn as you described will be the clock spring. Inside this clock spring will be a few wires, airbag/horn/steering wheel switches.
