Having lived in the area for a number of years before moving overseas, I'm moving back to Ireland/Wicklow later this year. I am considering the Marina development (a townhouse or apartment) but would love to get any feedback please from any current Marina Village residents or purchasers. 'Have read the other trails referencing Marina Village. But any current information/thoughts from current/future residents would be hugely appreciated especially in terms of what you like/dislike about the living 'experience'.
And/or what you liked which prompted you to offer/purchase. And maybe what you disliked resulted in you not offering. Thanks in advance

You really need to spend some time around the area to understand the pros and cons. It seems to be a very marmite estate in that some people love it (or are loath to admit its a letdown) and others outright hate it.

Consider the on-going building works, lack of privacy due to cliff walkers and people seeing in from passing trains along with the restrictive parking etc...

Also consider what precautions have been taken to protect against the effects of salt water in the builds.

They look nice inside etc... are in a nice location for Joe's, the Beach House and a 99 from Spendloves, so its really down to your personal tastes.

I hope it's the bargain 1mil euro house with no garden, traffic and walkers passing but has a lovely view of Bray Head you are considering :)

Reviving this in the hope that a current resident might post their experience of living in marina village. What is the current age profile like? Is there any sense of community? Resident's association organising sports days for kids or bbqs etc.? Is traffic an issue leaving the estate in the morning? Looks like it could be a bit of a bottle neck where it joins the road at the Beach House. Any opinions at all would be great!
