FET Training Allowance

I am hoping to start a FET course in September and I'll be claiming the FET Training Allowance. I currently work Friday evenings and Saturday evenings. The only thing I'm unsure of is, will I have to give up that job if I'm claiming a FET Training allowance or will I be allowed to work my few hours on the Friday and Saturday evenings?

Is there anyone here that had a similar situation and if so, what was the outcome?

    Thank you :)

    Hi Shocksy,
I am thinking of doing a bus driving course with further education and training board in February next. I would be great full if you could shade some light regarding it.
Firstly, I work 2 days (same as you mention above) and don't know if I can claim training allowance (not claiming anything form social at the moment).
Secondly, I have learner permit and CPC already and wondering if the only teach you how to drive a bus or do they help you getting a full licence?

P.S I have already submitted the form and I qualify for the training (never asked if I get some kind of training allowance tho).

    Many Thanks in advance.
