USB Ethernet Adapter

I am looking at purchasing a new laptop. Among many of the specs I am using as benchmarks, one requirement is RJ-45 connection.

One of the laptops that interests me does not have an RJ-45 connector, but I believe I can use a USB to gigabit adapter.

My only concern is that I have no idea if doing this will affect data speeds.

    Does anybody have experience?

I use THIS regularly without any issues whatsoever.

Make sure the laptop and adapter are both USB3.0 and you should be fine.

Do the Apple ethernet adaptors just work on Macbooks or can they be used on Dell / HP etc?
