So wife traded in her 15 cactus diesel and bought herself a new ze4.0 Zoë dynamique Nav .
Stonking trade in offered 5year 0 % hp for the balance.2k off list.
It took me all of 5mins to convince her after I brought one home on a 24hr test drive.
1 month after it arrived I managed after a heap of work to score myself a 17 Ioniq for 22k,now finding an Ioniq was hard enough but trying to get a trade in on an 18 month old Octavia took everything I had.
Took less than 5mins to argue the merits of my changing.
Bottom like for me is the fuel saving alone is paying 100% for one of the cars.
Also I am aware that both Zoë an Ioniq are both being replaced/updated any minute ,the deals I struck offset this as I don't intend even thinking of changing for 5years no need I love em both and they perfectly suit our needs.
Garo wlb charger installed at home with a demand unit, sourced charger myself ran cable myself through wall cavities/roof local spark wired it grant in progress.
Ioniq gets charged on granny cable at work (12 HR shifts).
I couldn't be happier best move I ever made even before considering the ecological impact or the driving experience.
    Colour me impressed.
