Peugeot oil leak under warranty

Hi, I have a 2016 3008 1.6 bluehdi which has an oil leak around the top of the engine, to the rear of the rocker cover.

I am going to ring the dealer in the morning, but does anyone know if this would be covered under warranty?
Car has a full Peugeot service history although it is now overdue it's service by a few hundred. Mileage is 41k miles

    Yes that's the plan

    Why wouldn't it be covered?
If the car is still in warranty, I finding it hard to imagine a scenario where it would be anything other than a warranty repair.

Just rang them. It's not covered. The car was registered in March 2016 and the warranty is only 3 years.

Of course it's covered, engine and gear box is the minimum coverage

I would ask for some goodwill towards to fixing it if you have a full main dealer history. It is not acceptable to have leaks that early and at that mileage

Definitely not acceptable but it's out of warranty now. If it's been serviced by the main dealer there may be a chance of good will. Otherwise it's unlikely

It's going in for a service on Thursday so will see if I can get anywhere then.
