Cars “waving/flashing you out” during the test

What’s the consensus on what you’re supposed to do if you’re at a junction going onto a major road during the driving test and a car stops and waves/flashes you to go? I know people do this all the time in real life driving, but am I supposed to ignore them and wait until they move on and there’s a safe gap during the test? Or is it okay to pull out when they let me go anyway?

    100% ignore them

Don't go encouraging them to make a move either..

Not very real world but sure that's the way with most tests

Satisfy yourself that it’s safe to go by observing all other areas, including the area behind the car that’s flashing for overtaking motorbikes and bikes, and proceed forward with caution continuing to carefully observe.

Do not treat it as a signal to just go but use it as help to go but you must satisfy yourself that it’s safe to complete your turn.
