Walton Heath again and live scoring on EuropeanTour.com

Only Hoey from this island playing in Walton heath. Harrington trying it in rattlesnake point gc. What a name. Power there also. Westwood playing in Walton heath. Couldn’t find Dunner anywhere. Is he playing?

Sean Quinlivan from Kerry who is now based in the US also playing today in US Open qualifying in New York.

Paul Dunne has decided to skip US Open qualifying this year, as he is set to play the Golfsixes in Portugal alongside Gavin Moynihan, starting on this Friday. The Greystones man will play in Germany, Spain, Lahinch and Scotland in a 4 week stretch after the conclusion of the US Open.

He felt that travelling all the way to the west coast of America would not be great preparation for those 4 tournaments in Europe that has combined prize money of around 17.5 million euros. That's not including the Open in Portrush where he has yet to qualify just yet.

Interesting decision. Not many players wouldn’t want to play a major. Could have easily played in Walton Heath and then decide but each to their own

Unfortunately for Padraig, he finished his 1st round with 3 bogeys in the final 6 holes. He is currently 1 under after a 71, Tied for 9th. His 2nd round is due to get underway in 10 mins.

Seamus Power finished round 1 at level par. He did get to 2 under but he was +2 for his final 6 holes. Currently tied for 11th.
