We have a small porch with a flat roof. We're in the house 15 years and never needed to carry out any work on it. After the winter, as it's around the back of the home, we noticed some of the roof crumbling onto the ground. Having a new door fitted, we were advised that the structure of the walls and roof were crumbling....I don't know where to start, please advise

Engage a survey or engineer to see the problem on the ground. Take their advice and proceed.
