Hi. I'm looking for a company to erect an automatic awning over a large window at the back of my house. It needs to be mounted on a tiled roof. If anyone has any recommendations I'd appreciate a PM. Thanks in anticipation.

You are looking at big bucks here, and then the material may only last 5 years and if you need scaffolding to take it down for reloading it will be v pricey.
I looked at this before and gave up on it because of the cost of future access.
The automation should include a rain sensor

If the purpose is to restrict solar gain in summer, have you considered a brise soleil? Wouldn't need to move so nothing to go wrong.

I hadn't thought of those - thanks. Ill look into it as they look better than the awnings. Yes, it's to prevent the room over heating. Also the window pane (internal ) cracked which supplier is attributing to a thermal crack so I need to prevent that happening again.
    Thanks again.

Which type of windows was this?
    Who was the supplier?
