Damp stain on shower room floor tiles

Anyone have any idea of how to remove this stain that's appearing on the floor tiles I have in my bathroom beside the shower? The liquid that's on top is thick bleach which I've tried just now to remove it a bit.

Do you think damp can travel through a tile? As in, if the ground under a tile were wet, would a stain show on top of it? This section of tiling is under where a shower mat would normally sit, in case it matters. I'm surprised to see damp stain on a bathroom tile

If its under a mat, it's most likely some form of staining from that due to trapped moisture etc

I hope so. Hopefully it's not a bigger issue. Is it stained forever now, do you think? Or is there something I can try?

I can't make much of your photo as it's too close up. It's possible that your tiles did not have the correct surface sealing and are then being penetrated by surface moisture. If that was the case, I'd imagine it going to stay stained.

Ok, thanks very much for that. So you don't think (from looking at it) that it's anything coming up from underneath? I've taken another picture but I think you're right, the stain is there forever now. I didn't like those tiles since the day I put them in! They are the anti slip ones and the rough surface makes them difficult to clean in general actually.

It looks like your grout has various cracks that will allow moisture to get under and go where it can.

It looks to me like there is moisture ingress into the tile between the glaze and it will be difficult to remove that stain.
