Smart tv with media player app.

    Howdy, I am thinking of buying a smart tv 32¨ to 43¨ range. I currently have an android box connected to my 17¨ samsung and have TVMC app for playing all my movies from a hard drive. I only use it for the single purpose of playing movies and boxsets, don´t have netflix or any other tv apps.
    Do smart tvs have the function to play movies from a drive and keep in a library format like TVMC/xbmc/kodi.

    If they have wired/wireless connectivity yes they can.

    I bought one in Jan

    I have Kodi, IPTV apps, TV/movie streaming apps , gaming emulators etc

    One of the best things I've bought

    That would suit you
