Other thread closed, so let's try again :D. Few bets at Fairyhouse as previously mentioned. Couldn't be backing the well regarded Weld filly in last at prices now.

6.55 Fairyhouse: Ebony Belle (12/1), ran well on seasonal debut and should come on for that as only 4th career start and first start since November. Potential to improve for step up in trip and Pat Martin likely had her prepped with low grade handicaps in mind.

7.25 Fairyhouse: Above Us Only Sky (16/1), not yet shown much form away from Dundalk and still a maiden but not with current yard long and not too hard to improve former Charles O'Brien ones. Was rated much higher in past and has 7lb claim to help. Wouldn't have great confidence in being up to winning but decent price to run into place with dead 8.

8.00 Fairyhouse: Sheila's Empire (14/1), first run for Cromwell and still relatively unexposed on turf, booking of Shane Crosse looks like a sign of intent and some exposed boats in opposition.

An unexpected bet but at the price I'd be foolish not to play.

4.30 Lingfield. Calippo around 3.25, I'm having a max 5 point lay anyway. I had this horse priced up at least at 5/1, no where near 2/1....

    Til tomorrow :)

Scrapes into 2nd by a nose with field down to 7, given they nearly always finish 3rd in those circumstances, happy enough to take that

That Weld filly looks some specimen anyway MH.
Hard to get a full grasp from the TV but interested to see how she shapes myself.

Yeah not really telling anyone anything they did not know at that price/with that pedigree, but way she quickened clear in last 200 yards was very nice.
