    Looking at one of these at the weekend in a very reputable garage.what are your thoughts on this tractor? it has 5400 hrs, 70% tyres. 2006 with a loader, asking price 34k. any thoughts or things i need to look for?

    If it's been looked after, and serviced as required, it will be a sound tractor at those hours. As with any tractor with a loader fitted, give everything in the front axle and steering a good going over. Other than that, drive it and make sure all the controls work as they should. If it's a very reputable dealer, I assume there's a warranty, which should give you some reassurance....

    a reputable dealer in the midlands one of the biggest new holland dealers in ireland. its in between mullingar and portlaoise if that spells it out

    Has the head gasket been done, mine gave out at 4800 hrs....then a few weeks later the power quad followed suit.

    Other than that it's been sound.

    I don't think the head gasket was much of an issue on 4 cylinder 20 series?

    Bought a 6320 in Feb with 7500 hours. Noticed a good shot of smoke when twas ticking over so I rang the garage. They brought it back and replaced the head gasket. Running way better since. Apparently they're generally done around 5k hours on the 20 series. Two neighbours with 6320's had them done at 5k as well. Something to watch out for I suppose.
