Surely it's looking for the password you set up for you're phone sharing the data connection?

When you go into the phone settings : hotspot. There should be a password option that is either set already or you had to set it to turn it on. Should give you the option to show it so you can copy it to the pc.

You have to click 'show password' when turning on the hotspot.
