Renovating a house and want to put in air to water heat pump with underfloor heating. Has anyone done this with a separate hot water system? Like a heat pump cyclinder.
I'm totally confused with what to go with.
    Any help out there?

Yeah its called a hybrid system. Air to water heat pump efficiencies drop off dramatically as the external temp drops. System sgould be back up by lpg for cold nights and can be used to generate hot water. If not get a high temp heat pump
