Have 55 to 80k to spend on a tractor.
Currently have new holland and while its ok i think there has to be a better tractor out there such as case deutz john deere fendt or maybe kubota??
Any feed back would be great
Tractor will be towing upto 25 ton and some power harrowing and loader work
    Mainly haulage though
Really needs to be comfortable. The new holland i have has front and cab suspension but it can be like a bucking broncho at times.

They get a very bad reputation about here. Idrove a Claas Arion 650 for a day and found her seriously comfortable on the road.
Saying all of that I would like to try a Kubota M7 for a day too, problem is dealer backup would be very sketchy in the South Leinster area.

Was going to look at a valtra 214 but the dealer is too far for back up and service. They have air front axle and 60k box
Massey is the closest agent to me but i have been warned if problems and uncomfortable ride

Case will be a rebadged New Holland, so be careful that you don’t buy the same tractor as you have painted red.....

Last good tractor new holland made was the T 6080 and 7050. If your doing road work with a low loader. Stay away from Kubota, great tractor but too light for that work. If it was me I’d stick with a new holland. T7.260 or something. No tractor is bullet proof but new holland are a basic machine done well. The new Deere’s are over priced and give trouble. What about the Claas axion range ? FPT engine and a gimma (massey) back end

I wouldn't write off Deere's as easy as that.... They are expensive, but they're as good as anything else available, and a lot better than most. As for giving trouble, show me a tractor that doesn't...

Have to agree with you on the deere , very good solid tractor and well built and Have one myself.
I use to have a claas 697 and every day I had it there was a problem,I was delighted to get rid of it . They have know resale value either.

Would a 3 year old fendt 720 be better than a demo new holland t7?
Or my other option is a 6r john deere approx 1 year old?

Personally, I don't think the 3 year old Fendt will be any better than the other two, and is probably costing as much? I know all modern tractors are getting very complicated and expensive to repair, but the Fendt will be more so than the other two. Is there any chance of getting a demo of them, to see how the comfort is?

How many hours are you putting up a year? If it’s a lot worth considering fuel efficiency. Neighbour is a contractor, Fendts and Deers. Reckons the Fendts are far more fuel efficient.

It all depends who owned these second hand tractors when you buy them . There could have been a young lad on either of them tractors and dogged them out of it , you would just one to know the history.
I had a few tractors here on demo and the John deere and fendt felt the most solid. The 6r are a very good tractor , there is a few lads around me that have them and they are very happy.
