Looking at mf 5445 tier3 so dyna4 version.

Websites seem to have differing figures for its horsepower ranging from 90 hp to 105 hp.

What's the official hp on these?

We have one. Boosted to 120hp. I understood it was around 100hp when we were buying

Ya I think there around 100 but some articles online quoting 90.

What's involved in boasting to 120.. any negatives other than fuel consumption

Supposed to be the same engine as a 5455 so it's just a matter of putting the 5455 program instead of the 5445.
Weve a 5712S and the 5445 would out pull it. It's not as heavy in the back end as the 5712 though

Good to hear. After buying one.
What they like on hills pulling a dozen bales?

Good, both tractors here were pulling 12 on a 6 mile draw with a good length of a climb up a hill. The 5445 out pulled the 5712.
But the 5712 has better hydraulics and an electric joystick so was quicker loading and unloading
Maybe see can you get wheel weights for her. You would need to be gentle with her with the weight of bales from modern balers

Why won't my just allocate 110hp instead of having software/powerboast decide 110 needed
