A few strong bets lined up for today.

2.05 Huntingdon, Nimby, around 2.14. I really don't like the horse. I've layed it fairly heavy today.

    Good luck to anyone betting

Got a bit of a word for Raksha in the 2.25 Redcar.

Well done on Nimby, have in a treble, next two favs with it - all short prices.

3.05 Windsor. Deputise, have bet this one heavy at around 5/1, been told by the baby sitter of the uncle of a trainee bookmaker that it wins today.

(I have genuinely backed it but couldn't resist the chance to take the piss)

2.55 Leicester, Rathbone, around 3/1 I've got stuck into this for a win.

Strongest bet of the day and it's a lay. 3.05 Windsor, Top Breeze around 2.38/2.4. If this wins it'll knock me for 6 but I'm fairly confident it will get beat today.

3.15 Huntingdon, Cesar Du Gouet. Short enough at around 1.71/8/11 but if it jumps around it win.

Confident I'll make a few quid today regardless

Layed the fav against the one I've backed. "Great".

Even stopped clocks are right twice a day to be fair.

    I have also bet:

First Sitting in the 4.10 at Redcar - generally needs first run of year and this is a grade below what he is used to, probably worth taking the 4 places 1/5.

Miss Mumtaz in the 4.50 at Windsor - top two in market can be opposed - Birch Grove looked a complete monkey on recent starts and the fav unlikely to have beaten a lot last time and bit of a question mark over firmer ground makes her plenty short enough at odds on, Miss Mumtaz done OK over jumps since last flat run and still unexposed at this trip.

Not my most correct ever on the day but a good day anyhow.

Even stopped clocks are right twice a day to be fair.

More drivel. I couldn't be arsed to go back over my recent posts here but losing days are few and far between if any.

I wan't going to have a last bet but at the price I can't resist

3.55 Cartmel, Eyes of A Tiger around 2.7 I think it will get beat, a heavy lay for me.

    Til tomorrow, good luck

"Few and far between if any" some shout that, just make each bet bigger than the last and don't keep figures and you'll never lose.

Again, here I am wondering why I bothered posting anything on this forum.

That's a laugh if I ever heard one. If you don't use your current username, you'll use one of your alias names aka kiers47 and multiple more.

Only ever had one username, why would I even bother with another one, you're a worse judge of usernames than horses. Whereas you have reregistered after making a clown of yourself on your previous one and I am a bigger eejit for bothering to even reply to the likes of yourself on an internet forum. Also notice the poster known as TheOnlyWay suddenly stopped all posting once you turned up again

Where is that kiers guy these days anyway?

Onebaba in the 5.25 at Windsor. Will be dissapointed If he doesn't prove better than a mark of 75. Windsor a track I can't seem to make head nor tail of though so not one for the faint hearted.

I have a hard neck and can take a bit of flak, but the biggest insult is I ever heard it putting me in the same league of theonlyone. His posts really are horse sh!t.

I think you need to stop gambling til the winter and focus on the all weather.

    Your bets today

    Deputise 4th of 5 runners 2nd last
First sitting 14th of 14th last

and the icing on the cake "Miss Mumtaz in the 4.50 at Windsor - top two in market can be opposed"

Miss Mumtaz 4th of 4th, the first 2 in the market 1st and 2nd.

And you judge my bets :D

whatever, no point arguing with idiots online. come back when you've put your neck on the line and made a thread with actual profit/loss over more than a few days, see how your "heavy" bets work out when you have to actually quantify them.

Lads had a horse backed 6/4 fav, there was a withdrawal and a 20p rule 4 applied! That’s fair enough but the SP was 11/8 should you not just get the 11/8??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,610 ✭✭✭yaboya1

    Back hard, lay hard.
Even if the lay wins at a bigger price than the back, you profit because you bet by percentage stakes ;)

    Keep up people!

If you have placed your bet before the rule 4 then price changes after are irrelevant. Unless the price drifts, where you will receive the better odds, with the same stake deduction.

    TO: Mostly Harmless;

As stated before and am correct in that " use A PIN" BECAUSE you are really pathetic.

Your AW tread made nothing and the amount of bets well FOR SURE one would be better guessing if it would rain.

    Plain and simple >>>>>>>>>>> USELESS.

I dont think anyone should be slagging of someone that posts selections here regularly. Goat at least puts up something. Anyone expecting miracles is just kidding themselves.

While I broadly agree, he also claims to be a pro at the game and is constantly putting up "max bets"/"heavy bets" at in or around Betfair SP without any real reasoning, even the shrewdest/smartest punters would struggle to make money betting like that and he is guaranteed to lose using this MO, by claiming to be having chunks on and being pro he is misleading people.

Great to have you back. Yes I am totally useless and could do much better with just guessing (350 bets, >20% ROI, >170pts profit from that thread). But at least I can string an intelligible sentence together. Thanks for your input.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 471 ✭✭PhuckHugh22

I dont really want to inflate anyones ego. :)

But most proffessional punters operate at about a 5-10% ROI. Pro football punters operate probably closer to 3-5% ROI.

Anyone that can document 350+ bets and return 20% is nothing short of astonishing and far from "USELESS"

I would imagine that level is unsustainable. But it is still an incredible return over that period.

Even if found out, Re-Registered under a new user name are lying on the last user name? Sorry, but that deserves slagging/cannot be taken seriously :)

I’ve zero issue someone putting up selections but Irish goat aka the sonofgoat is just littering the place with last minute max lay/ max bets and claiming to be making profits. :)

Anyway I’ll add to ignore list as he seems to be gathering a following from the most surprising sources :)

Well reading bull does nothimg and does not make a profit.

The reason why people like to gamble is exactly that .

Its not a day thing nor is it sticking a FKN pin and I am going to be lucky well keep following nothing as that is eactly what he does..

Make a thread, stick up 350 bets and see where you finish up. Failing that, just try and learn how to write a normal sentence in English :pac:

Some on here put their selections up and a few do make it pay .

The worst poster is that idiot as rarely if ever could he back it up with a reasonable argument .

Look its horse racing in mid summer with the best races to come and for sure have more things to do than post on this forum so gl all.
