Having trouble with my iPod Classic

    Whenever, I connect my iPod to my laptop, it won't show up. After googling, I tried updating the Apple Mobile Device USB driver in Device Manager. This works but when I try to add music in iTunes (I restored the iPod in an attempt to fix it), it freezes.

    Also, whenever I disconnect the iPod, I end up having to update the driver again. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with it and how to fix this? I have another iPod but it works fine so I know it can't be anything wrong with the laptop. Thanks.
