Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've a kit lager in the fermenter since 16th, so 9 days but the Gravity is still bouncing around each day by a point or two.

Instructions say to leave for a week until SG is the same two days in a row but as we're at day 9 should I bottle up now or wait till tomorrow??

I generally leave mine for 14-21 days!

    Wow really??

I'm always afraid if I leave it too long it might go off or something.

Leave it an absolute minimum of 2 weeks. Ignore those instructions.

Well I consider myself educated this morning. I really would have thought it would go off given the fermenter isn't airtight

People were making beer for centuries before the invention of lids. Plenty of commercial breweries still use open fermenters.
