Use spare Huawei HG658c as a repeater/extender?

My Belkin N600 Dual-band wireless Modem/Router Model F9J1102v1 which I've successfully used as an AP for years seems to have developed a fault. I have a spare HG658c which I would like to set up as a wireless Access Point, Range Extender or Repeater. Is this possible? When logged-in as superuser I don't see any options which would suit this configuration. Any pointers or suggestions appreciated.
