Used it many times. No issues with it. The worst plastic I used is Quinn plastic. Too stick and it would tear easily

+1 on the Quinn, pure scrap. Wrapper man said to me last year that the sound of the plastic peeling off the roale was a good indication of the quality. Very loud was good as there was a good bit of the sticky cling stuff on it to make a good airtight bale. No noise no good. Don't know how true it is but makes sense.

Yeah that’s very true. I refuse to use Quinn plastic on the wrapper. It’s a pure nightmare. It took me 2 hours one year to wrap 20 bales because the plastic kept tearing or it wouldn’t come of the roll evenly

I agree, the only plastic I've ever experienced snapping mid wrapping and the only plastic I've ever taken off the wrapper before finishing the roll, pure useless. It's not still available though is it?

A fiend of mine got a few new rolls of it this year. Think I’ll bring my own plastic to that job

It was being sold really cheap last year, I assumed it was stock clearance situation. If it was free it'd still be too expensive.

What bale wrap are lads using this year?

used a couple of rolls here last week and thought where bale sat on the pipes even for short journey there was a bit of stretch on the plastic.

used master crop wrap here in recent years and thought it was very good .not available here this year anyway.

being offered volac and sila wrap at 70 and 68 euro a roll.guessing the levy ain't being paid on it though at that price??

I say it the other way around sila wrap is usually the dearest. Bought it this year at 78. Levy is about 3-4/ roll AFAIK. Silawrap is usually what I get. Both local co-op branches were not stocking it, I had to go to another branch of one of them.
