Sneaky way to check clarifier.....

    So I have 2 HF rigs... a FT101B and a FT747GX

as the &$& is misbehaving the 101 is plugged back in again.

I spent a couple of days on CW, not getting any response to CQs.

the clarifier is slightly off, so, without dismantling the thing and buying an oscilloscope.....

go to a web based SDR.

    http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/

find a station calling CQ on the radio (easy on a competition weekend)

    find it on the SDR

answer the station and watch to see how far off my signal reaches the SDR.

adjust until the two waterfall lines coincide perfectly.

    sneaky or what?

    :p
