With showers forecast for the next few days ,would it be suitable to spread urea or is it better to stick with can

If you are definitely going to get 5-10 mm you will be ok especially if the ground is damp already. Only disadvantage is it takes 4-5 days to work.nif you need to get grass into a few paddocks can is better

Use protected urea instead cheaper per unit of n than can ,I’d have no issue spreading normal urea atm either when it’s raining or before

When you only buy small qaunties saving's on protected urea over can or in NPK mixtures are not worth the efforst. Now it about 3 years since I priced them so maybe the difference has increased. Next spring I must price again.

    Can't beat 27 2.5 5 for grazing.
