Evening folks,

I'm just creating this thread for people to discuss their experience & share their personal thoughts on the entire process to date, from the initial screening @ NCI, to the networking event in IBEC right through to the final interviews that you have completed/scheduled.

So feel free to leave any questions, info & answers below in relation to the above.

I was called for interview with one employer pretty soon after the networking event & completed it 2 weeks ago. Still waiting on word back with regards to whether I was successful or not. Have not been called by any other participating employers yet.

Has anyone else here been called for interview to date?

Do you mind me asking how they contacted you regarding your call back, was it by post?

I was called for final interview via Email & then verified the time & date via phone call. Attended the interview & now I'm just waiting on word as to whether I was successful in securing a position or not.

For what it's worth I got word back from the company I had my final interview with today, unfortunately I wasn't successful in securing a position with that particular employer.

Hopefully more employers start calling candidates soon. Extremely frustrating at the moment, not much clarity in relation to timeframes etc.

A lot of people are very uninformed & left in the dark.

Sorry to hear that. I spoke to Caroline recently and she mentioned that only three companies have even started the interview process yet so I'm sure there's still a good chance

Hi folks,

Don't know if anyone is still monitoring this thread, but I'll chance it anyway.
I've applied for the Specialist apprenticeship for this year and have gotten through the academic side of the application process and waiting to see if the employer event will go ahead as scheduled.

Any info on the format of the day from anyone that's been there last year?
