    Hi

I am going on a trip around Europe on a bike and was wondering which is the better option to go with. Leather or textile jacket and trousers. Leather would be very hot I'd imagine in Europe during the summer.

    Any advice would be appreciated

    Thanks

Textile all the way. I made the mistake 3 years ago and had to buy a textile suit during a 2 week trip in Austria.

You'll be roasting either way if temps are up. Textiles will cover all conditions. Otherwise textile jacket leather pants.

Top tip, get a light coloured textile jacket.

There's a reason they make them in whites dreams and pale Grey's.

    Black sucks up the sun.

Lighter colours can be significantly cooler.

You'll be fine in the mountains. Just avoid big cities and traffic jams. Tried to take the non toll road from Nice to Cannes and got way too hot, went to the toll road and it was better.

RST do ventilated textile suits. Great for all year round.
