Tax Refund

    Hi folks.

I've just started a new job in Ireland, moved from the UK. started third week of March. Didn't register my job with revenue so I was hit with emergency tax. Fair enough. I calculated that I was down around 5/600 euro. Tax credits was zero.

Registered my job and received my pay slip today. I've got a refund but I'm being paid about 2k over my normal take home pay. Tac code is A. Tax credit is 275.

For the life of me I can't understand how this was calculated.

I guess this isn't correct and I've been overpaid? Getting married next week so the money has come in handy, even if I have to pay it back.

    Cheers for any insight.
