Yeah, it was back fairly quickly. I am happy with it.

Pricey enough at nearly 60 eur and with a 24 month contract though. Especially when they promise much more.

I have imagine broadband for nearly 2 years now. On day one I was getting 158megs!!!!! That didn't last long though. Day 2 was about 30mb. Now if I see 7, im doing well. It seems to come and go a fair bit recently. I know the whole covid thing is probably putting pressure on their network, but they dont acknowledge how bad it is or offer any help. 60 euro is expensive for a fairly unreliable 7mb connection. I've emailed several times and only once got a reply. The internet was down plain and simple and this is the one and only reply I got after several emails over several weeks. for info - my pc is connected directly to their router/modem with a good ethernet cable.

Thank you for your mail. To be able to investigate further and identify the slow speed issue you are experiencing, can you please provide us some further information.
    1. When did you first notice the slow speed issue beginning?

    2. Does the issue occurs only in the evening times or is it an all day or weekends occurrence?

    3. What devices are affected? (Example i-phones / android phones / mac book / Windows laptop / smart tv etc.) Please list all devices using the broadband in your premises

    4. What services are affected? (Example streaming / online gaming / opening web pages etc.)

    5. Do you have any WiFi boosters/extenders/ Power line adapters or secondary router connected up?

    6. Do you have any SkyQ box ?

    7. Is the issue with slow speeds only over WiFi or is it occurring both over WiFi and while your directly connected to the router?

    8. Are you connecting to Imagine 2.4G wifi or Imagine 5G wifi?

    9. Generally what speeds are you receiving while the issue is occurring and which website you used to test your speed ?

    10. Can you plug a laptop/pc with an ethernet cable to the Imagine router - open your browser and go to perf.imagine.ie, run a speedtest by clicking on GO - click on copy link on the page when test is completed and paste link below ?

I've replied many times since but never heard back.
The internet still comes and goes.
As a result, I've had to cancel working from home and my wife cant properly do homeschooling.
Amazon prime, netflix, disney+ or any of that is just not workable.
The very minute an alternate ISP is available to me, I will ditch imagines sorry asses.
    Shame on you Imagine.

imagine has endless 1 star reviews on itrustpilot because they label low speed as fair usage policy. ( I have 50+ MB speed with three 4G 29.5 eur monthly and I am waiting for 5g tower being closer to me, the speed on three 5g is 500+MB https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=542411&d=1612710092)
