    Looking for some advice.

    It's not bad but single channel ram seriously impacts performance, no idea why most Dell machines now have it.

    If you add another 16GB stick of ram to make it 2x16GB dual channel it will perform much better. Although 32GB of ram is essentially useless for most tasks, so maybe sell the 16GB stick and buy 2x8GB instead, which would work out close to cost neutral.

    Have you bought from the outlet before? They get a new drop every day at 2ish I think, you need to be live on the phone with them at drop time, think they were doing 50% off one of the days last week.
    If you call them they'll tell you what time to call back, you can haggle a bit with them.

    The Alienware laptops are plenty powerful and you can always use a graphic adapter if you want dual cards. The way the fans blow out the back stops them burning the balls off you if your using it on your lap.
