    Any estimates how long to build a 3 bed 2 storey detatched 160sqm with

    A) brick and block
    B) timber frame brick outer leaf

    Assuming fine weather and includes kitchen, baths, wardrobes, floors and painted.

    A - 6 months. B - 4 months.

    My parents built fully finished a 2000+ sq foot timber frame in 4 months, i’m still plodding along 14 months with a block build....

    contractor doing everything 6 months or thereabouts , timber frame somewhat quicker

    self build 12 months plus
