Not enough info. What does your current device not do, that the Pixel will? I'd think you'd be mad going from a XR to the Pixel. It'd be a downgrade in most aspects. The only thing would be the camera, but the XR camera is pretty damn good.

I dunno I feel sort of scared in a way I bought the iphone XR because my iphone 8 broke, All these updates from apple every month freak me out because I had a 4s years ago and long behold the updates drained my battery, I think im just thinking out in impulse. What would you do?

If you like the phone you have then I'd keep the phone you have. If you've always used iOS then you won't like Android anyway.

I know but liking somthing is one thing but does it compare has me quized because I notice alot of youtubers are given the phone for free and are paid by google to talk about the good stuff but I havnt seen any battery tests yet I mean with my XR im getting 8-9 hours screen time. Have any of you got the pizel 3a ?

It sounds like you’ve come here to be convinced to get rid of your XR for a Pixel 3a.

Getting freaked out over updates? Calm the f*ck down. Phones are supposed to be updated for lots of reasons and your XR will probably get them for the next 4-5 years. 2-3 years with the Pixel.

Battery’s have a life span so don’t just blame updates (though sometimes an update can cause a degradation). I’ve always found battery performance better on iOS than Android.

Your phone is fine. It makes no sense to be to get rid, but if you want a Pixel, just try it out and see. Best of luck.

Absolutely crazy. Keep your phone and don't overthink it.

The XR is an amazing device and updates are a good thing. It keeps your device secure and adds functionality on bigger updates. The updates don't drain the battery, I would bet money that you owned that 4s for years (lets guess 4!).

What I'd do is enjoy the XR.
