Hi All.

Does anyone know of anywhere which removes Audi Component Protection?

The Concert radio unit in my 2013 Audi A4 broke and I replaced it with a 2nd hand unit from Kilcock Car Dismantlers. The new unit slots in and works fine with the exception of no sound from the radio as the Component Protection needs to be removed.

Based in Dublin, appreciate any suggestions.

Really only a main dealer as far as I know. Ring and ask what they will charge.

Ya it has to be an audi licenced workshop as it needs a live factory connection to remove it I believe.

You need someone who has a live connection to audi servers, I can do it in the south but most people try and find a friendly dealer
