Hornbeam hedge -feed suggestions

I have a hornbeam hedge on theShannon boundary of my site. Sowed it in 2015. It has made good growth but slow in places. I have never fed it or tended it other than a gentle pruning once a year.

It was bareroot and small when I planted it

My question is what could I give it as a feed. I was thinking of farmyard manure (can't source locally, but can be bought by the bag in local hardware), and put around the base, maybe mixing with multi purpose compost or would bonemeal be better

    Any suggestions welcome
    Thanks

Any general purpose tree and shrub fertiliser will suffice. No real need for manure on a hedge.

Also keep the weeds well back. Grass up to and around the base is a real no no.
