    Hi anyone know anything about these changing blades in one for a friend he mentioned about long and short blades.Are these in every second disk as I presume and if so which one do you start with long or short.Thanks in advance.

    I would imagine it is more to do with the model than having both on one mower. Only Fort I used was about 15 years back belonging to a neighbour and they were all the same length blades. Maybe the larger ones have the same discs and use longer blades to make up the difference?

    Current mower and the previous were forts. No long and short blades but there is a difference between the 2 blade on the same disc! One side is turned down on the blade.
