Honor 10 lite arrived today and when set up and connected to Internet all it keeps doing is checking for updates and keeps hanging that way.....let it go for at least 20 mins and nothing. Can't seem to get to factory reset either as when I do power button and volume buttons together and it reboots it just says software…

Can't seem to get to factory reset either as when I do power button and volume buttons together and it reboots it just says software install failure reboot system and I cant get into settings to do it as it it won't let me go beyond checking for updates.

Any help would really be appreciated as this was a present and I'd really like to get it up and running
