Suspended Flooring

Hoping someone can offer some advice, we have recently been house hunting and found a lovely property but it had suspended flooring which neither me or my partner know much about,
Can anyone advise on whether they are a good/bad idea or will it lead to further cost down the road by having to replace the floor?
Anything we have looked up online has suggested to ensure that they are well insulated which we were told they were but is this enough?
    Thanks 🙂

Use the Search function in the forum.

I insulated my suspended floors, and have explained the process a number of times here.

From a house buying perspective I would rather have suspended flooring (insulated or uninsulated), than uninsulated concrete floors, because suspended floors are relatively cheap and easy to improve.

    It's certainly not a showstopper.
