I have an Inspiron 7720 and would like to make some upgrades if they'd be useful and not too costly. I've upgraded the HD to a 256gb SSD so I'm ok with that. There's 8gb of Ram already, not sure if moving to 16gb would make much difference.
The GPU is a Geforce GT650M so this is probably the easiest to impact. I don't game on the laptop, except maybe football manager so I don't need graphic intensive. Any idea where I can see an easy list of compatible upgrades? Also any other upgrades which would have a good impact?

you can't upgrade that graphics card your laptop as it's soldered in.

ram upgrade to 16gb won't make a lot of difference unless you are doing a lot of video editing.

check your ram usage in task mgr ctrl+shift+esc to see how much you are using.

the hdd to ssd that you have already done makes the most difference in terms of speed of boot-up and general operation
