    Strange theparents don’t want her associated with the ‘highway of tears’ murders. You would think an association would generate more publicity.

    Yeah from what I read about the case the logic is that she wasnt hitchhiking and she didnt match the profile of many of the girls murdered on the Highway. The highway of tears now has billboards along its length advising young women not to hitchhike there. I also think that they may be holding out on the slim chance she wasn't murdered, maybe abducted etc.

    Thee are a few documentaries about the case - one which discusses her disappearance and then does a segment on the Highway of tears.
