Samsung S9 slow fast charging

Anyone ever see this
My Samsung S9 is on fast charging but its still slow to charge
have tried both wired and wireless fast charging but although it says its fast charging its very slow

have cleared cache
turned off any apps that were running in the background
rebooted phone and still the same

Its gone from 39% to 66% in 90 mins

Try cleaning out any fluff in the USB port, that used to mess with my S7 charging connection. That would only affect cable charging.

If all else fails to fix it you should do a factory reset (can fix some strange problems a lot of the time) or of that doesn't work then return it.

Is the issue the same with the case on? Do you have any kind of metal plate between the case and phone?

What type of fast wireless charger are you using?
Would need to be a 10w fast wireless charger for best speeds

I'm having some really weird charging issues lately. Telling me the other day that it was 8 hours to a full charge. Often the charging cable is not being detected (multiple cables & charges tried). If I put it on a charging pad it charges. Then if I plug the cable in it gets detected and switches to wired charging.

Cleaned out the port and there was a small bit of lint.

Its a charger I have always used and had no problems
case off for charging

No was in work so I left it charging without using it

It seems to be ok now
