Mi max 2 repair query

I have a mi max 2, dropped it and cracked the digitizer I think (cracks up and down the screen but phone works fine otherwise). Is it possible to solely replace the digitizer or does it need to be LCD + digitizer?

They are cheap for LCD and Digi
