Anybody else think this guy has a valid point?

"By putting so much emphasis on climate alarmism and the alleged dangers of CO2, meanwhile, Mörner said the UN has diverted resources and attention away from “all the real problems” of the world that really do exist. “This is a terrible thing, this is the terrible thing,” he said. It is especially sad because “the world is full of real problems” such as hunger, starvation, killings, natural disasters, diseases, and so much more, he said. Yet because of the incessant focus on demonizing CO2 and trying to control “climate,” those very real problems get ignored.”

Climate change will make the real problems worse and increase their scale.

    No.

It is possible to consider several different factors at once. We are a long long way from putting all our resources and attention in to the environment issues.

Also, of the other issues you listed.
Hunger - Ties in with conversation on environment
starvation - Ties in with conversation on environment (albeit not for current crises)
killings - not related to environemnt currently but could do as resources decrease (you could argue murder of preservationists already means it is relevant)
    natural disasters - Very relevant
diseases - Not related to environment currently but absence of clean food/water facilitates the spread of disease.

I think he's referring to the measures that are being proposed based on the climate change being man-made though

Yes, look at the evidence of what they have done so far in the name of CO2
    - Banned decent lightbulbs for useless CFL which has mercury in them

    - Promoted nasty Diesel to gas us all with toxic fumes and particulates

    - Changed car tax so a new BMW costs €200 whereas old car costs €600
    - And paid to scrap old cars - and there is no way that is environvmentally sound or good for anybody except the German car inductry
